A few weekends before lockdown, I was sexually assaulted outside the Kingshead Pub and Theatre. It was pretty fucked up and awful, but that wasn't the first - nor the worst - time. It's something you come to expect as a woman walking through a city, by herself, at night. Every woman I know has a story like this. My experience is unexceptional.
